BE THE BRIDGE

“A multigenerational workforce is like an orchestra. Each section plays a different role, but together, they create a masterpiece.”    — Carla Harris, Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley, Author, Inspirational and Motivational Speaker

Last week, American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands (AmCham)‘s Diversity and Inclusion Committee held a seminar entitled “Bridging Generations at Work” at Microsoft Netherlands office. I had the privilege and honor to serve as host and panel moderator for this event! It was an afternoon of learning, sharing, and understanding that generational differences are real, but also absolutely necessary to effectively manage a growing, thriving organization.

In today’s competitive market, success hinges on smarter decisions, seamless collaboration, and exceptional performance. The key? Fostering harmony in your multigenerational workforce. When every generation “plays together,” innovation flourishes, driving the masterpieces your business depends on.

I’d like to thank our keynote speakers Aart Bontekoning and Jessica Kuitenbrouwer; our panelists Marti Wigder Grimminck, Lyudmila Todorovska, Amit Shah,  Elke Roelant, Soeradj Ramsanjhal, and the entire AmCham team for their work to organize and deliver a quality event; and Wibe Spekking, for his support of this event!
