At the Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B) in Geneva, I had the honor of joining a critical panel organized by Luanda Domi and the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) focused on how to bring more women and underrepresented talent into cybersecurity.
The conference theme — Rethink, Evolve, Anticipate — challenged us to do just that.
🛡️ Cybercrime organizations are already diverse and fast-moving.
— If our defense teams aren’t, we’re fighting a losing battle.
— If your cybersecurity team isn’t diverse, it can’t rethink, because homogeneity leads to groupthink, not fresh thinking.
It can’t evolve, because it’s stuck maintaining the status quo.
It can’t anticipate, because it’s always one or two steps behind.
We need urgent, intentional action to build more inclusive cybersecurity ecosystems.
Not just for equity — but for effectiveness.
Because diversity isn’t just about fairness — it’s about fortifying our global defenses.
Proud to have contributed to this vital conversation along with Anat Lewin and Nicole Cader.
Diversity is not a nice-to-have. It’s a strategic necessity to strengthen resilience, outpace threat actors, and protect our digital future.
Grateful to be part of the global conversation. Let’s move from awareness to accountability.
Let’s turn talk into action. Now!
